Why You Need A National Park Passport
You should never leave home without your National Park Passport. If you don't have one, get one so you can leave home and appreciate America (and collect stamps at every National Park your visit)!
More about National Park Passports:
There's a mobile app!
www.eparks.com/store/content/923/Mobile-App/
Im just now downloading this so I will post a review as soon as I get another park under my belt.
This pages tells you where to locate cancellation stations:
www.eparks.com/store/content/863/Passport-Cancellation-Locations/
The site says that most of the over 400 parks have cancellation stations! Can you imagine the lifelong quest of getting to all of them. It's exciting to even consider.
The program was started in 1986 by Eastern National - who knew!
From: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_National
Eastern National (also known as EN) is a nonprofit Cooperating Association based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, that partners with the National Park Service in the United States. It was created by charter in 1948 to "provide quality educational products and services to the visitors to America's national parks and other public trusts." As of June 16, 2009, Eastern National has donated over $100 million to their partners.

I just order mine today. And yes I’m a seasoned citizen as well😂 Always heard about it but never really looked into to much. But now I’m excited about it. Already reached out to the places we’ve already visited ti see if I can get the cancellations mailed to me. Nice video 👍

In the back, there is a section for extra, unofficial cancellations, so, mine has one from the US Embassy, Managua, Nicaragua.

I also love using my National Park Passport book. Unfortunately there isn’t any groups that I could find to share my love of them. So I created a Facebook group! It’s named “Passport to National Parks” I would love if you joined and share with you’re friends that also love Collecting passport cancelation stamps

Thanks for your effort...You're quite lovely...However, you now have a false sense of security as anyone wanting access to you will look under the door when they meet resistance and simply push your doorstop out of the way... Be safe!!! You'd be safer taking a belt and putting it on the door hinge at the top of that door that causes it to shut...Be sure you cinch it tight...Be safe!!

Celebrities should be allowed to sue people who put their current address on a star map ( even though we can . Google that information ) Think about it .

TOURISTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD HAVE SO MUCH FUN THRU THE YEARS. Instead of wishing people would get sued... Lighten up. The fans wanna see how they live & they're taste in homes & what to do as tourists. We've been part of Hollywood for almost 9 decades. After all the fans paid for the homes thru buying movie & concert tickets & they're products. 😃 Besides paparazzi catch them at they're worst moment & make a fortune on they're calamities. Shouldn't that really upset you? 😠 But yet you actually think Google has more rights than an individual business? Not Cool😲

"I want to be buried with my national park passports" LOLOL, but good idea - adding that to my funeral wishes. I just purchased the "seasoned citizen" version and skipped past the smaller book because this is a lifetime obsession. Thanks for putting a name to what i figured was a complex. I want to go to all Oklahoma state parks, National Parks, National Monmuments, Etc.

I feel totally understood! Similar hair, age, and vibe but also a love for the National Park Passport Books. I was fortunate enough to start my journey in 2016 and lucked into getting the 100-year anniversary collectors addition. Dude to COVID, I am unable to collect more stamps right now but I am still hiking, camping, and learning. Thanks for the great video!

I started with the small passport book, but then decided to super upgrade to the explorer edition. It isn't cheap, but it zips up, has pockets in the front and back, and is very expandable by adding pages into the binder. It also has a shoulder strap and a clear zipper pouch I put my park pass and hang tag in. Very nice video with a lot of good info!

“Seasoned citizens who are completely badass” I love this! I tried to add some stamps during my last road trip but was waylaid by the government shutdown. Boo! I wonder if your ranger friend had a mandatory vacation. I’m jazzed to get my stamps next time though!
